Some people come to Chakras because their toenails are thick, curled, ingrown, discolored, damaged, or difficult to manage. Others are struggling with very dry, peeling, callused, or cracked skin. Some are dealing with both.

I’m Tina, the owner of Chakras Nail Care & Reiki. I provide gentle, detailed cosmetic care in a private, appointment-only studio where I see one client at a time.

You won’t be rushed, dismissed, or treated like the next person in line. Your appointment allows time for me to understand your concerns, care for your nails and skin thoughtfully, and explain the next steps.

               Restorative Pedicure Expertise

The STAR-NT Pedicure is one of the most requested services at Chakras. It is designed for people who need more detailed care than a typical salon appointment provides.

I regularly care for:

• Thick or difficult toenails, including pincer and trumpet-shaped nails

• Ingrown or uncomfortable toenails

• Discolored, damaged, detached, or crumbling nails

• Toenails when fungus is suspected or has been diagnosed by a medical provider

• Very dry, callused, peeling, cracked, or difficult-to-manage skin

Since May 2025, I have completed more than 600 STAR-NT pedicures, helping clients make visible progress through consistent studio care and realistic home care.

When home care is needed, I’ll tell you honestly—and make sure you understand exactly what to use and how to use it. Recommended products are available in the studio.

All services are cosmetic and performed within scope. Chakras does not diagnose medical conditions or claim to cure fungus.

               You Don’t Need to Have It Figured Out

If you aren’t sure what you need, that’s okay. You don’t need the right words or a perfect understanding of what is happening with your nails or skin.

That is exactly what the STAR-NT Assessment Pedicure is for.

Clients travel to Chakras from throughout Midcoast Maine and beyond—including Rockland, Camden, and Damariscotta. Some travel from as far away as Massachusetts for this level of private, detailed care.

Chakras has intentionally stepped away from artificial nail enhancements to focus on:

• Healthy natural nails

• Restorative manicures and pedicures

• Thoughtful nail and skin care

• Regular and gel polish options

The goal is more than a temporary result. Every service is designed to support the long-term condition and appearance of your natural nails and skin.

               Reiki

A 15-minute Reiki Energy Reset can be added to any salon appointment for those who would like to deepen their relaxation.

Dedicated Reiki sessions are also available on select days for those who want more time to slow down, settle in, and simply exhale.
